Open year-round Taboo offers a wide selection of activities for all seasons.  During the winter, we offer a variety of outdoor and indoor activities so that you can enjoy the fresh air and Muskoka beauty, or keep warm on those blistery days when curling up by the fire sounds much more enticing. 

Head over to our Clubhouse where you can rent, free of charge, cross country skis or snowshoes, warm up with hot chocolate, chili, or the likes, and peruse our items for sale (please note that this is available based on conditions).  Head out to the skating rink for a game of pick up hockey or to enjoy a leisurely skate but don’t forget to bring your skates as we do not offer rentals.  For some indoor activities try yoga, a wine tasting, or head to the Fireside pub and enjoy playing a game of pool, shuffle board, darts or cards. Dog Sledding - Winter Dance Dogsledding
Take a ride on the wild side through pristine forests with a team of experienced Siberians Huskies.
Only 60 mins from Taboo, cost starts at $120 for a 2 hr trip.   Arrangements can be made through our Recreation Dept at ext 5721 or by calling 705-457-5281.  Min booking 24 hrs in advance. Book early as weekends fill up quickly.

Mush your own sled with an experienced team of Siberians Huskies on this 30 min adventure. Prices start at $2000 for up to 9 participants. On site trail is 30 minutes in length. Minimum booking 2 weeks in advance.
